∴ V₁ = a³

Let V₂ be the volume of a cube with side 2cm

∴ V₁ = a³

⇒ V₁ = 2³ = 8 cm³

Let ‘n’ be the number of cubes of side 2cm which are cut from cube of side 6cm.

∴ n × V₂ = v₁

⇒ n × 8 = 216

⇒ n = = 27

∴ Total of 27 cubes each of side 2cm can be cut from a cube of side 6cm.
