7. Measurement

Longer—Shorter

A short pencil and a long pencil. A long ladder and a small ladder.

Tick ( ) the Longer.

The first image is that of a short leaf and the second image is that of the longer leaf.   The first image is that of a longer broom and the second image is that of the longer broom.

  The first image is that of a long rope and the second image is that of the shorter rope.   The first image is that of a long bamboo stick and the second image is that of the shorter bamboo stick.

Longest—Shortest

There are three chilies. The first one is the longest, the last is the smallest and one  more chili lies in the middle.

Tallest—Shortest

The first image is that of a tall giraffe and the second image is that of the shorter giraffe. The first image is that of a tall man holding a long stick in his hand. The second image is that of a short man holding a short stick in his hands.

The first image is that of a chick with short legs and the second image is that of an ostrich,  bird with long neck and long legs.   The first image is that of a cow and the second image is that of its young one.

Tallest—Shortest

There are three houses, the first one has three floors, the second one has two  floors and the last has only one floor.

There are three trees in a row. The first one is the tallest, the last in the row is the shortest and one more tree lies in the middle.

Thicker—Thinner

A girl with a thin plait and a another girl with a thicker plait.   The first image is that of a thick roll of thread and the second image is that of a thinner roll of thread.

The first image is that of a thinner broom and the second image is that of a thicker broom. The first image is that of a thin branch of a tree and the second image is that of a thicker branch of tree.

Thickest—Thinnest  

There are three books in a row, the first is the thickest and the last one is the thinnest.

Heavier—Lighter

On one side of a weighing scale, there is a pumpkin and on the other side, there is a tomato. There is an elephant and an ant.

There is a shirt and a lock. There is a small cylinder and a long cylinder.

There is a kite and a roll of thread.   There is a whale and a small fish.  


Heaviest—Lightest

There are three pumpkins, the first one is the heaviest and the last is the lightest and there is a pumpkin in the middle also.
