Can reflection result in plane polarized light if the light is incident on the interface from the side with higher refractive index?

Polarization by reflection occurs when light is incident on a surface at ib, Brewster Angle where the Brewster angle should be less than the critical angle ic , otherwise total internal reflection will happen and the light will be transmitted without refraction.

Given light is incident from a medium of higher refractive index, i.e. n1>n2

Now the critical angle is , where n2<n1

Also Brewster angle is ,where n2<n1

For larger angles, , which means ib<ic

i.e. Polarisation will occur.
