a. Punjab accord is popularly called as Rajiv Gandhi and Longowal accord. It was an agreement signed between our former Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and the president of the Akali dal president Harchand Singh Longowal.

b. It finally resulted in peace and normalcy in the region of Punjab.
