Party Based Movements are the popular movements where participants or organizations involved in the movement retain close connections with political parties. Many movements related to some social conflicts take forms of political movements when their prominent members become associated with certain political parties. For example, peasants in Andhra Pradesh organised movements under the leadership of various communist parties. These links help these movements to have a better representation of their demands in party politics.
