Marshall Plan was one plan under Mister George C Marshall who was the United States Secretary. America under this plan extended great financial assistance for the purpose of reviving economy of Europe. Fresh collective security structure was formed under NATO or North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Under this Plan, OEEC or Organisation of European Economic Cooperation was formed in 1948 for helping West European states. It played the role of a platform on which West European states initiated to cooperate on economic as well as trade problems.
