From molecular view point, discuss the temperature dependence of susceptibility for diamagnetism, paramagnetism and ferromagnetism.

When a magnetic field in applied on an object, its electron starts moving in circle or the motion is also known as orbital movement, forming magnetic moment. When the magnetic moment generates in the opposite direction of the magnetic field of the object, this effect is known as diamagnetism. Hence, the magnetic moment in totality is rendered zero thereby are not affected by change in temperature.

Now as for the other two that is paramagnetism & ferromagnetism is formed due to the alignment of magnetic moment in the direction of the magnetic field. As the temperature changes so does the alignment therefore, changing the magnetic susceptibility of the unit.

Therefore, the magnetic susceptibility of paramagnetism and ferromagnetism are dependent on the temperature.
