The magnetic force depends on v which depends on the inertial frame of reference. Does then the magnetic force differs from inertial frame to frame? Is it reasonable that the net acceleration has a different value in different frames of reference?

We know that magnetic force on a moving charge is given by


F=qvB sinθ where,


q is charge of particle;


v is velocity of the charged particle;


B is magnetic field strength;


θ is angle between B and v.


So, since velocity is frame dependent therefore magnetic force is frame dependent.


And net acceleration is not frame dependent as pseudo force comes into play when we change the frame of reference.


Hence, yes magnetic force is frame dependent but net acceleration is frame independent.
