‘Many rituals, religious beliefs, and practices were not recorded in a permanently visible form as monuments, sculptures or paintings’. This statement is explained below:

a. There are many communities and people might have not known to keep the record for the rituals, religious beliefs, and practices.

b. However, they may have had various traditions of religious activities and their own classical ideas.

c. The people generally wanted to record the things which are clearly visible and did not feel the need to record the daily practice is about religion and philosophy.

d. So we have only a partial view of the rich visual traditions that were presented in the form of sculptures and paintings. There is still a lot of history which is not yet recorded.
