• One of the primary sources that allows us to know about the Bhakti and Sufi traditions from 8^th to 18^th century are textual in nature which has the compositions attributed to the poet saints of that time. These include texts like Nalayira Divyaprabandham, Kabir Granthavali, Adi Granth Sahib, etc.

• There are several biographies of saints or hagiographies that were written down during this time period by the devotees and followers and are important sources of information.
