If a piece of paper is placed at the position of a virtual image of a strong light source, will the paper burn after sufficient time? What happens if the image is real? What happens if the image is real but the source is virtual?
We know that, in case of virtual image, the light rays don’t actually converge, rather seem to converge. So, holding a paper at that place, won’t burn it. Rather, holding a paper at real image will burn it, as light rays actually accumulate there.
