A narrow beam of white light goes through a slab having parallel faces.

White light splits into different color in glass slab, because value of their refractive index is different for different wavelengths of light. Therefore, they show different deviations, but the emergent light will be a white light. As we put faces of the glass slide parallel, then emerging lights of different wavelengths will re-combine on refraction.
