Area of the plot = area of the rectangle + area of semi-circle
Radius of semi-circle = 
Area of the rectagular plot = length × breadth = 60 × 28 = 1680 m2
Area of the semi-circular portion =

Therefore, the total area of the plot = 1680 + 308 = 1988 m2
