Can we draw a triangle ABC with AB=3cm, BC=3.5cm and CA=6.5cm? Why?
Our given lengths are AB=3cm, BC=3.5cm and CA=6.5cm.
∴ AB + BC = 3 + 3.5 = 6.5 cm
But CA = 6.5 cm
So, AB + BC = CA
A triangle can be drawn only when the sum of two sides is greater than the third side
So, a triangle cannot be drawn with such lengths
