A spherical ball of radius 3 cm is melted and recast into three spherical balls. The radii of two of these balls are 1.5 cm and 2 cm. Find the radius of the third ball.

Given,

Radius of big ball (R) = 3cm

Radius of smaller ball (r1) = 1.5 cm

Radius of second smaller ball (r2) = 2 cm

Let r3 be the radius of 3rd smaller ball

V = v1 + v2 + v3

(3)3 = (1.5)3 + (2)3 + (r3)3

27 = 2.817 + 8 + (r3)3

(r3)3 = 27- (2.817 + 8) = 16.875

r3 = 2.5 cm
