Notice the use of the word 'turn' in the first line, "I think I could turn and live with animals...” What is the poet turning from?

The poet is turning from living with other human beings and instead is convinced to live with animals. He takes this decision because he has analyzed this world deeply and realized that humans are very complicated and false whereas animals are placid and self contained. They are satisfied with their condition but human beings are always dissatisfied and grumbling.
