● Voluntary muscles can be regulated by our will.

● The functions that these muscles perform are regulated by our own conscious control.

● Eg- Movement of arms are under our control

Involuntary muscles cannot be controlled by our will.

The functions of these muscles are controlled by the hypothalamus.

Eg- Cardiac muscles found in heart work tirelessly and regulate the beating of heart.
