Construct a ΔABC whose perimeter is 12 cm and whose base angles are 45° and 60°.

Steps of construction


1. Draw a line segment PQ = AB + BC + CA = 12 cm.


2. Make LPQ= 45° and MQP = 60°

3. Now bisect LPQ and MQP such that their bisectors meet at A.

4. Draw perpendicular bisector of AP and AQ i.e. XY and ST intersecting PQ at B and C respectively.


5. Join AB and AC.
