Where a = 2, b = - 3 and c = 4

The cubic polynomial can be calculated as follows:

x^{3} – (a + b + c) x^{2} + (ab + bc + ca)x – abc

Putting the values of a, b and c in the above equation we get:

= x^{3} – (2 – 3 + 4) x^{2} + (-6 – 12 + 8) x – (- 24)

= x^{3} – 3x^{2} – 10x + 24
