What happens at the synapse between two neurons?
Two neurons are connected by axon bulb and that connection is called synapses. Axon bulb consists of many neurotransmitters like acetylcholine which help in chemical transfer of information through synapses into the dendrites of another neuron which receives the information and passes on further in a similar manner. Electrical signals also take place through synapses between neurons which is a faster mode of conduction of impulse if compared to neurotransmitter conduction. However electrical signals are one way pathway.
