How are the modes of reproduction different in unicellular and multicellular organisms?
Unicellular organisms reproduce asexually by binary fission, multiple fission, budding, and cyst formation. The basic phenomenon that occurs is cell division which leads to formation of new individuals.
Multicellular organisms may be simple or complex. Complex multicellular organisms reproduce sexually that involves fusion of gamete/ sex cells from parents. On the other hand simple multicellular organisms follow asexual modes like budding.
