Given, dimensions of overhead tank = 40 m × 25 m × 15 m
⇒ Volume of tank = 40 × 25 × 15 = 15000 m3
Days till the water if this tank will last = (volume of tank)/(water consumed by 5000 people per day)
= 15000/375
= 40
Thus, the water of this tank will last till 40 days.
