When two 4 ohm resistors are connected in parallel then the equivalent resistance will be
1/Requivalent = 1/4 + 1/4 = 2/4 = 1/2
Or R = 2 ohms
When two 4 ohm resistors are connected in series then the equivalent resistance will be
Requivalent = 4 ohm + 4 ohm = 8 ohm
