The Indian Ocean is the main reason for monsoon because due to sea breeze phenomena the warm air above land rises up and the cool air above the ocean reaches the land and along with the cool air there are water vapors trapped by the air which bring monsoon as they reach the land and the vapors carried by the wind form water droplets.
