Control and coordination in animal body takes place through the action central nervous system and endocrine system. The nervous system controls all bodily activities and responses. It is made up of central nervous system which comprises the brain and spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system which is made up of nerves leading into and out of the central nervous system. The nervous system works by neurons which transmit information in the form of nerve impulses.
