Carbon dioxide (CO₂) is an important gas in Earth's atmosphere but on the other hand if it is increased above certain limit then it is considered harmful especially for human beings. Air contains 0.04% carbon dioxide, 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen. Other gases are present in very small quantities.
