State the rule to determine the direction of a

force experienced by a current carrying straight conductor placed in a magnetic field which is perpendicular to it.

When a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field then the conductor will experience a magnetic force. The direction of magnetic force acting on a current wire placed in a magnetic field is given by __Flemings left hands rule__.

According to Flemings Left-hand rule:-

•__If we arrange our left hand's thumb, index finger and middle finger mutually perpendicular to each other.__

•__And then if we put our index finger in the direction of magnetic field applied and middle finger in direction of electric current.__

•__Then the thumb will point in the direction of the magnetic force__
