Why are connective tissue named so?
Connective tissue is named so because they transport different nutrients, waste materials, gases like O2, CO2, hormones etc and in this way establishes a network for all the cells of the body and connects to them. Since connective tissue is in some or the other way is connected to all the cells they are known as connective tissue.
