The experiences of an individual during its lifetime are acquired traits. These are changes in the non-reproductive tissue of the individual, and do not affect the DNA of the germ cell of that individual. As in reproduction, only the germ cells participate, the changes in non-reproductive tissues are not passed on to the next generation.
