Papers are made from wood pulp produced from wood of trees so a large number of trees are being cut down to be used in making paper by the paper industry. This is the major cause of deforestation which leads to serious environmental issues. 17 full grown trees are needed to make one-tonne paper so in this process, many forests are cleared. So we should save paper to save the felling of trees.
