Evaporation of water from water bodies, condensation of these water vapours in the form of clouds and then returning back to earth in the form of water droplets (rain) are the basic steps of water cycle. Within this cycle water can be found as

● Liquid in oceans, rivers and other water bodies.

● In form of vapours in the clouds and in air also.

● Solid in the form of snow at high altitudes.

● Water droplets at the period of rain fall.
