Firstly, nitrogen is required by plants for their growth and preparation of food and we derive products from them, so it becomes important for us. Other factor is, most of our metabolic and biological compounds like DNA, RNA and proteins contains nitrogen hence, it becomes an essential part of our life. Also some vitamins, alkaloids and urea contains nitrogen.
