Paper is made from wood pulp that is produced from the wood of forest trees. The paper should be saved because it takes around seventeen full grown trees to make one tonne of paper. If everyone saves at least one sheet of paper in a day, we can save many trees in a year. Trees are important to maintain a balance of nature. Therefore, we should save paper.

Ways by which paper can be saved:

i) Reuse used paper and recycle it.

ii) Use both sides of a paper for writing.

iii) Use chalk and slate for doing rough work.

iv) Spread awareness about the importance of the paper.
