A cotton mill is a machinery that is usually set up inside the building; it does the work of weaving and spinning , after doing these two functions the machine produces cotton yarn or basically cotton cloth.

The first cotton mill was set up in Bengal in 1854, and the first cotton mill of England was created by Richard Arkwright in 1771.
