Difference: The figure on the left is cylindrical and that on the right is cuboidal.
So, surface area of cylinder = 2 π rh = 2 × × 7
= 154 sq. cm
And surface area of the cube = 4 × side2
= 4 × 72
= 196 sq. cm
Clearly, the cube has a larger surface area than the cylinder.
