Given-
A= {(1,1), (2,2), (3,3), (4,4), (5,5), (6,6)}
So, n(A)= 6, n(S)= (6)2= 36
∴
And B = {(4,6), (5,5), (5,6), (6,4), (6,5), (6,6)}
n(B)= 6
∴
AՈB = [(5,5), (6,6)]
∴
Thus,
P (A Ո B) ≠ P(A). P(B)
So, A and B are not independent events.
