When we focus sunlight using a convex lens at the tip of a matchstick, what will happen? Why?

The matchstick will burn because convex lens is the converging lens. The rays of sun coming from large distance ( infinity) will be converged at the focus of the convex lens, due to which too much energy will be produced and this energy will burn the matchstick kept at focus of the convex lens.
